3 Ideas For A Fun Bath Time

3 Ideas For Bath Time Fun

With the kids going back to school we are also working on getting back to our routines everyday. Things like taking a baths daily tend to get forgotten in our lake filled summer fun. As we jump back into the daily… it helps our transition when I can add in a little fun for them. I’m also focusing on making bathtime safe for the kids this year, using products I believe in and feel good filling their bath tubs with. Fun & safe is exactly the bath routine we’ve been looking for.

Here are 3 fun ideas (and a peek into my favorite kids bath line) for making bath time the best this year:

1. Balloons

Filling the bath with balloons is an easy way to instantly turn the daily chore into a party. The kids adore playing with balloons anytime – but especially in the bath. The balloons tend to get slippery when wet, which makes them even more fun to toss in the air and set the toys on top of. They literally spent a solid 40 minutes in the bath last week with balloons just having a blast. You can use whatever balloons you have on hand, 2-3 will work, an entire tub filled with them is even better!

Both of my kids have sensitive skin and eczema, which is why I started using the Arbonne baby care line to begin with. Their diaper cream isn’t just for babies. I’ve been using a combo of the diaper cream and lotion on the kids legs and arms after pool days and lake adventures all summer long and the eczema problem is so much better. Before this summer we used a major store brand that I’ve learned was filled with chemicals known to cause disease, and petroleum (like what you fill your car with!), which is bad for skin, for the environment, and for world politics. WOW. The new baby lotion is more effective and I feel so much better about lathering the kids up with it after bath time.

2. Confetti Sponges

Sponge confetti makes for a festively great bath time any day. Buy a couple of cheap colorful sponges and cut them into small pieces to toss around in the tub. As the sponges get wet they get larger and even more fun to play with. Just allow the sponges to dry out fully in the sink after bath time and they can be used again and again for party time – bath time fun.

3. Bath Toys On The Wall

My kids ended up bored with the general selection of bath toys quite quickly. They much prefer their own dolls, transforms and princess characters. To turn any toy into a wall scaling bath toy, all that’s needed is a suction cup on the back side. Buy a small package of them and hot glue to the back of the toys. The result is a toy filled bath that has kept my kids happy & busy for longer than I ever thought possible.

Arbonne’s baby care line has become a big part of our bath time routine. For a very long time we used bath soap that I knew in the back of my mind wasn’t good for the kids – but I couldn’t find any other options in the store aisle that seemed much better. I kind of just threw my hands up about the whole thing. Which made me feel so awful. I’m so glad I found out about this line of products.

Arbonne’s line is filled with naturally derived aloe, chamomile, and calendula instead of the petroleum and harmful chemicals that are included in many mainstream baby products. I feel so much better knowing my kids are bathing in soap that is not just making their skin super soft, but also keeping them safe. Even the baby wash bottles are recycled and made of food grade plastic so it is safe from every angle.

I’m so obsessed with it all. I love that my Arbonne store offers a 45 day money back guarantee so you can try the products out for your own bath time and send them back if you’re not obsessed too. Check out the full baby care line over on my Arbonne page.
