To continue in my cranberry obsession; this version of infusing cranberries in bourbon and then sugaring them is amazing! The taste is tart, meets sweet, with a side of wow! The infused cranberries are a perfect option for a last minute Thanksgiving dessert and can be used for cocktail parties, open houses, and quiet evenings at home throughout the holiday season.

Cranberries, burbon, sugar…
I can’t think of a better idea…
wait…
nope, still can’t.
Tiffany, that’s funny:) I can’t think of a better idea either.
I never have been a huge fan of cranberries… but this… I can totally dig into this! Looks absolutely delicious and I never say no to bourbon.
What a creative idea to utilize those cranberries! I’ve never thought of this, but it sounds amazing :).
Yes, please!! They look festive and delicious!!
Put them over a high shelf, or you may end up with crazy kids. ;^)
How long do you let them soak?
Kristin, I let mine soak in the sugar/bourbon liquid for jus a couple minutes. Here is an easy recipe to follow, just add the bourbon right after they simmer – http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/sugared-cranberries-10000000554659/
Do you use the bourbon in place of the water?
what exactly in the recipe for this?
I know I’m a little late in asking this, but is there a way to preserve these? I assume canning is out of the question, but can they be frozen?
Hi, there is too much sugar, looks good but I can not eat.
