Bright embroidered favor boxes

06.14.11 Posted in children, diy, favors, summer, wedding by Victoria

No matter the event, bright strips of confetti and sweet cookies will thrill any guest. Pile them together in small craft boxes for the perfect party favors. Hand embroider the boxtops for a final special touch.

These can be personalized in hundreds of ways; a birthday number for your next childrens party, a monogram or special sentiment for a wedding, perhaps even a tie for dad this weekend.

To recreate; trace your design on the inside of the box top and with a threaded needle hand sew your design. If you’re not a huge sewing buff you will be pleasantly surprised at how easy (and addicting) this project is, before you know it your entire home will be filled with bright confetti and embroidery.
