To create a fun and special party look with very little planning these streamer hung Cinco de Mayo fiesta balloons are great. They can fill a room with vibrant color in no time and are crazy simple to put together, just add a little papel picado and your first summer party will be ready to roll – mariachi band optional. ;)
I know a streamer and a balloon may seem like the perfect combo and I’m not 100% sure why we’ve never done this before, but it came out so fun! I love the idea (made with any color variation imaginable) for last minute birthday parties and showers too.
Cinco de Mayo Fiesta Balloons
The general idea for creating these Cinco de Mayo fiesta balloons is to tie a streamer onto the bottom of each balloon. We picked streamers that matched our balloons in color for a vibrant display fitting for any summer fiesta.
To get the balloons to hang at different heights in the room use more or less streamer length on the bottom. The longer & heavier the streamer the lower the balloon will float. It’s a fun way to create a backdrop or set up a wall that looks filled with balloons at all heights.
