Ghosts, crows, snails and balloons make up this festive Halloween bridal shoot. It was shot on location the same day I styled the kids ghost town Halloween, leaving us with one location and two very different looks:)
Visiting a ghost town this time of year is the perfect excuse for a little real life spook. The history and beauty that you find in the dying buildings is pretty amazing. Here is a list of some of the best to visit.
For this shoot we tried to celebrate spookiness in a subtle yet creepy way. Incorporating a subdued color palette using burnt orange and grey is an easy way to translate this at home. We served escargot (snails!) which happens to be one of my favorite foods. Have you ever tried them? You can find all the ingredients at Cost Plus to make them. Serve them for an October dinner party or wedding. Your guests will quickly get in the holiday spirit.

This is great. Snails are an unexpected Halloween choice but they are totally creepy and give you the willies. Beautiful shoot!
Such a unique bridal shoot! Love her little orange hat!
Ashley, thanks! The orange hat was a thrift store find, I paid a whopping $3 for it:) I love a great find like that.
This is so creative and beautiful. The last picture is perfect. I love the how the balloons are quasi in the spotlight too. Finally, that hat is beautiful and te perfect pop!
A Halloween bridal shot, what a fabulous idea! The ride looks gorgeous, love the pop of orange the hat brings :-)
I used to eat escargots with a spicy sauce all the time when I was younger, but I haven’t had them in a long time. I am not sure I would still like them!
OK, it’s official. I want to be your assistant. ;) Deal?
That orange picture frame is my favorite aspect. But up there for a close second?? That scrumptious chocolate cake. This shoot is phenomenal and so detailed.
You had me at that perfect little pillbox hat-what a gorgeous, adorable shoot!
Fun!
