There’s something about spring that always puts me in a mood for traveling. Whether you are spring break vacationing this week, or not, let’s inspire ourselves with these whimsical globe balloons! These balloons are great fun for a bon voyage party and for Earth Day festivities (coming up April 22nd!).
Use the balloons to decorate a spring party or bridal shower (make sure to include a heart where the happy couple will be honeymooning). They also make a festive gift for a friend leaving town – just attach an itinerary (and maybe some local money) to a few of the balloons for a sweet send off that will be remembered long after the trip is through.
To make the earth balloons print our our continent template right here, or try free handing your own. Trace the template onto the backside of gold foil paper. The most affordable way to get this look is to use 4 inch square gold foil candy wrappers, found here or in the baking section at local craft stores.
Cut out the templates and use spray adhesive to secure onto the balloons. Bunch the balloons together or use individually for a vibrant way celebrate the earth.

These are adorable! Such an easy idea, but I never thought about this before! It’s so cute!
