marbleized popsicles

Refreshing summer popsicles have become quite an addiction around our home this summer. I’ve loved adding fruit to them for cool and healthy summer treats. And when combined with the recent trend of marbleizing, it creates a gorgeous layering effect that makes each pop seem like its own little work of art. Perfect for snacking and sharing on a hot July afternoon.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Any frozen or fresh fruit you can blend we used blueberry, blackberry, strawberry, and peach.
  • 1 cup Vanilla or plain yogurt
  • 3 tbsp 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp cream

Instructions

  1. Mix with 1 cup vanilla or plain yogurt, 3 tbsp honey, 2-3 tbsp cream.
  2. If using frozen fruit, let thaw first with 2-3 tbsp of honey per fruit.
  3. Blend fruit and honey, set aside. Mix yogurt, honey, and cream until smooth.
  4. Prepare popsicles by spooning the mixed yogurt into a popsicle mold, alternating with a spoonful of fruit - repeat until you are almost to the top of the mold. Take a skewer (popsicle stick will work as well) and insert into yogurt-fruit mixture. Swirl the skewer in the mixture, allowing the layers to mix in random patterns (don't blend completely or there won't be any white yogurt showing).
  5. Place molds into freezer and allow to semi-freeze before inserting popsicle sticks. Allow to completely freeze and enjoy!

  1. looks delicious, but i have a question.

you listed honey only once in the ingredients but mentioned using it twice in your directions. do we use the 3 tbsp with the blended fruit or with the yogurt/cream mix? if both, is it 3 tbsp each or proportioned out?

    thanks!
