merrymaking 2.17.2012

We had such a crazy week. With a full on snow day, in laws visiting and a house tour photography session I feel like I’ve been in a whirlwind. It was great fun and I am really looking forward to a quiet weekend at home to make up for all the crazy!

Here are a few reasons to celebrate I’ve been wanting to share with you…
Adorable pillows for a wedding or anniversary gift.
A perfect party strainer for spring drinks.
An egg bouquet for spring.
Confetti art to brighten your day.
The most gorgeous hats for spring, some of which inspired a party hat series, starting next week!

And couple posts from the archives that you may have missed; painted vases for spring, gorgeous glitter party decor, watercolor snowballs and bandaids for decorating (awesome or gross?).

Home tour sneak peak with my twins (and newly re-covered sofa!) by Lemaire Photography.

can you tell us about the board on wheels the kids are playing with? love it!

Susie… Our living room is quite narrow so to leave the floor open we’ve decided not to have a coffee table. In its place we painted two small boards and attached wheels to the bottom. They are perfect for kid board game playing, or for coffee holding while I work and they roll right underneath the sofa when we don’t need them in use any longer! They are my favorite, thanks for asking:)

  7. Oh, would love one of those Lara Harwood pieces on my wall!

totally brilliant idea victoria! i love it! could you let me know the dimensions of the boards you used — and also, it looks like you painted using chalkboard paint. is that correct? thanks so much for sharing such a fab idea!
