merrymaking 3.16.2012

I had a big change of plans this weekend due to a heavy mountain storm and have found myself home with unintended free time. What would you do with a couple extra free evenings? I will be off finding special indulgences to fill them with:) Also, a few celebration links that I’ve been meaning to share with you. Happy weekend!

Pretty striped printable gift wrap.
Embroidered bunny favor bags, embroidered post cards + embroidered favor boxes from last year.
Bright heart cake topper.
A present house.
This cake is beautiful!
Two easy St. Patrick’s Day projects from the archives here and here.

I was so honored that The Huffington Post named my celebrate Pinterest board one of their Five Hot to Follow. You can follow the board too, here.

PS. We are almost sold out for the May business of blogging class (hooray!) so I’ve decided to open another class in July. Check it out here if you’d like. I cannot wait to work one-on-one with you to develop your blogs and business plans. It is going to be great!

  1. Wow, that’s just fantastic news about your class!!!!! I knew it’d be in high demand :) This image is insane – she she wearing a paper dress or is it ripped fabric or HUH? So cool!!

Horray for all that wonderful news!! John and I are planning a weekend in bed–SF is pouring rain, so we’re going to take full advantage of the crummy weather!

    • Victoria says:

Lena, thanks… taking advantage of the rain to stay in bed sounds perfect:) Wish I could have made it out this weekend but I will try to enjoy the snow instead!

Why am I seeing so many adolescent girl fashion models these days? What does it say about our feeling about being adult women? What does it tell adolescent girls about their need to grow up too soon? I feel that it sexualizes adolescence inappropriately.

Sorry for the repetitions. I kept seeing new “captcha’s” so I didn’t think my message had gone through. Oops!
