merrymaking 5.18.2012

This week I have been organizing like crazy at home. We tried to split the twins up into their own rooms. I had lofty visions of redecorating for each of them in my head, but they were not happy sleeping apart (so sweet!). So I’ve been left with a completely empty room to play with.

After staring at it for days, I’ve decided to paint it a brilliant white lay down a dark removable wood floor and use it for an ongoing blog series that will start this summer. It’s something I’ve been dying to do for awhile and am really excited about it! Have you been bitten with the spring organizing bug yet?

Here are a few celebration links I thought you might like this weekend…
Rice pudding in a jar favors.
Organized craft supplies (above photo).
Fun birthday breakfast ideas.
A perfect picnic tote.
Seven awesome thrift stores in San Fransisco.
Check out this pretty (new to me) blog.
Pimp your lemonade.
A confetti makeup bag for traveling party style.
A hotel of tee pee’s, so cool!
And the most gorgeous table set for a celebration that I have ever seen.

I’ve also been organizing this space for summer. I’ve updated the category buttons and bottom links with some of my favorite warm weather posts for you to enjoy!

I can’t wait to see what you do with the room! That confetti make-up bag by Kate Spade is adorable, as is the little picnic tote – perfect for some bread, crackers and cheese! Have a great weekend!

How cute are the twins and so thoughtful too as now they have left you with a space of your own (He! He!). I am looking forward to seeing what you do with it. Love the post on the flower boxes and the hanging ribbons – I did something similar with crepe paper for a mermaid party – they looked like jellyfish!

Hugs and a happy weekend to you, Stephie x

I love organizing attempts in my life…they start and I never finish! Or if I do, then they don’t LAST very long :) http://fromfreyawithlove.blogspot.com/
