mini-honeycomb picks

This post is sponsored by The Chew. Tune in, weekdays 1e & 12p/c on ABC.

Have you watched the Chew yet? It is a fabulous new show food show where the hosts include many of my favorites – like Clinton Kelly – and the food always seems like something I need to try right now! I want to share one of my favorite clips (their summer pudding recipe) with you; these mini-honeycomb food picks would be a simple compliment to that or any favorite summer treat.

To make the honeycomb food picks, simply cut down a sheet of honeycomb paper in a small circle for the apple/orange, or an oval for the pineapple. Here is my favorite source for buying honeycomb paper. Add a couple small green paper leaves and glue the little creation around a toothpick. They are a perfect topping to puddings, scones ,and other summer treats – like this amazing looking berry pudding…

The Chew celebrates and explores life through food – from cooking to food trends, restaurants, holidays and more all aimed at making life better, fuller and more fun. Featuring celebrity chefs Mario Batali, Michael Symon, and Carla Hall, lifestyle expert Clinton Kelly and fresh face of healthy living Daphne Oz, “The Chew” is a leap forward into a delicious new kind of talk show.
