Seeing as how this was the first baby party we have hosted- it was apparent the games and features should be geared towards the little ones.
Sent along in the invitations everyone received a balloon to blow-up, decorate and bring to showcase. We held a contest for the winning design by majority vote. Our winner, a 5 year old, walked around campaigning for herself throughout the afternoon and then enjoyed a well deserved victory.
We also had a ball-pit set up outside for the kids to play in, Chica became mesmerized with the blow-up features and forgot about her friends for awhile. It always amazes me the little things that keep their attention.
A balloon making station seemed like the perfect afternoon play area. It was set up with a pump, supplies and instructions for making a doggie or swan.
To revive the hungry kids after all this active play we served miniature mac-n-cheese cups + a few popcorn bags,
Just for the record: The happy uncle had none of the yummy beer, he is just that awesome naturally!
