polka dot balloons

Polka dot Balloons | A Subtle Reverly

Balloons are a great way to make any space party ready. They are easy to grab when I’m running 10 minutes late, and they quickly brighten up a room. I wanted to add a bit of texture and fun to our most recent festivities – so polka dot balloons quickly came to mind.

We’ve done painted polkadot balloons before, but what’s a girl to do when she is running low on time and has no paint resources on hand? Grab the closest office supplies that’s what! The result is a very whimsical party look in under five minutes flat.

To make the balloons I used a stash of small circle office labels. We left some white and quickly colored in others with a sharpie pen on hand. The color variation made the polka dots seem more thought-out and textured – plus, you can use any color to fill-in the circles.

Match them easily with your party decor, stay neutral like we did, or make a rainbow of polka dots to cover the party space.
