Pom Pom Candy Baskets

Pom Pom Treat Baskets

Creating a custom look on an everyday wicker basket makes it so much more special. I’m always looking for sweet holders for after school treats and these little cuties are so great! We are making an entire classroom full for this year’s Halloween school party and the kids can take them home to use for crayon or chalk storage once the sweets are gone.

Whether the little baskets are used for favors, classroom gifts, bathroom storage or to brighten up a plain office desk – they will instantly liven up the space.

To make the pom pom baskets you will need:

  • Yarn in various colors
  • Small baskets
  • Scissors
  • A fork
  • Hot glue gun
  • Candy or party favors

1. Wrap the yarn around your fork a few times and tie a knot down the middle prongs.

2. Take the yarn off of the fork and cut the sides to form a pom pom. Trim the pom pom if necessary.

3. Hot glue the pom poms to the front of the baskets.

4. Fill with candy or other party favors!
