A fun solution for your next “too many butts for available seats” party. This new furniture design entitled Hockenheimer by njustudio could be quickly recreated in your own living room. Stack magazines as high as you would like, belt them together (or use ribbon) and secure a pillow on the top. How easy and completely fabulous!

Ha! Very resourceful! Except for teachesr always use those magazines for collages and projects. It’s inevitable. :)
There are a lot of books/magazines and not very many chairs in my apartment – this is the perfect idea for company!
Do you think it would be sturdy enough? It looks super fun, but I would be worried all those magazines would just slide right over when I parked my bum on them!
Finally, a use for all my magazines when I’m not digging through the pages trying to remember where I saw something :D
i’ve totally done this! when i first moved to Brooklyn, i had NO furniture so I just whipped out a bunch of my magazines. worked like a charm.
Too cool! I wish I hadn’t just culled my magazine stash! Hope your weekend was good. Stephie x
This is so impossibly clever!
This is so cute… I don’t know why, but when I first saw the picture I thought it’d be so cool for a Harry Potter party- you could use old encyclopedias instead of magazines… I’ve stored it in my ideas file! H xo
My gosh! I have been stewing over what to do with my ever growing pile of magazines…this is FAB!
What a lovely idea!!!! I have tons of magazines.
From clutter to order. I love this simple but very clever idea. Now I know what to do with all my old subscriptions as I don’t have the heart to throw all of them away!
