Star studded balloons and sangria floats

Sticker star balloons

The Oscars are coming up this weekend. Do you watch? I find it’s always more fun to watch with friends. Pulling together a last minute viewing party can be easy with a couple simple details – an easy party appetizer (like soft pretzels) to nervously eat while awaiting the envelopes, sticker star balloons to liven up the living room, and Seagram’s Escapes sangria floats for sweet party drinks.

An Oscar viewing party is worth gussying up the living room a bit. Filling a wall, or the entire room with these simple sticker balloons will make a star studded statement and set the stage for an awesome show. Make the sticker star balloons by sticking golden star stickers (like these) onto white balloons. Start at the bottom and work your way up the balloons. Finish each balloon off with thick curly ribbon for a fun red carpet look that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

To make the Seagram’s Escapes Sangria floats we’ve partnered with Segram’s Escapes, their Sangria flavor is a favorite of mine. The Sangria tastes great on its own and even better over ice cream (then again, what doesn’t taste better over ice cream!?!).

Pre-fill cups with ice cream scoops, you can do this earlier in the day and store them in the freezer before guests arrive. Pour a bottle of Seagram’s Escapes Sangria on top of the ice cream. I prefer Vanilla ice cream with chunks of chocolate. That’s it! A yummy drink that will make Oscar viewing a fabulously fun affair.

Win a party of the month kit to host your own red carpet viewing party at home with Seagram’s. All the details right here.
