a perfect cookie box + my favorite pumpkin cookies

I’ve figured out how to make the perfect cookie box! It is great since our recent batch of pumpkin chocolate chip cookies needed to be shared. There is no better start to fall then biting into a rich pumpkin cookie. We brought some around the neighborhood and I topped the boxes with a simple black strip taken from the label machine. Hello to fall!

The cookie box only takes about a minute and one piece of scrapbook paper to craft! I read the instructions first in Practical Oragami and found them also online here. Try it out and let me know what you think. They would also be perfect for holding other small treats or party favors.

As far as the cookies; my favorite recipe can be found here. It is equal parts scrumptious and fall.

I think that packaging add the finishing touch to baked goods. It’s like a dusting of powdered sugar:) These little packages of goodness are beautiful!
