In honor of Spring, Easter, and everything bursting into life this month, I am begining a series on well designed eggs (follow along right here!). The egg is a wonderful canvas for creation. It is blank, easy to empty, and simple to paint. Before I kick off the series this week, here is a compilation of 25 favorite eggs, all designed with a dash of creative genius.
1. tiny polka dots – obviously sweet | 2. thumbprints design – spoonful | 3. neon dipped – merriment designs | 4. washi tape stripes – family circle | 5. watercolor swirl – spoon fork bacon| 6. thread-wrapped – martha stewart | 7. hearts – sweetest occasion | 8. gold-dipped – fabulous k | 9. blue lace – sweet paul | 10. gold dots – lovely indeed | 11. speckled ombre – the kitchy kitchen | 12. gilded – pencil shavings studio | 13. pantone – how about orange | 14. decopage – play eat grow | 15. cmyk dots – martha stewart | 16. mustaches – number 2 pencil | 17. leaf print – spoonful | 18. purple ribbon – martha stewart | 19. stencil design – deco & style | 20. picture tattoos – country living | 21. chalkboard eggs – brett bara | 22. incredible egg – peden + munk | 23. doodles – alisa burke | 24. natural embellishments – a daily something | 25. Eeee, thanks for including my little egg, Victoria! Trying to think up one for this year that I love half as mush ;) BTW, love this graphic!
Rebecca, thanks:) Can’t wait to see what you come up with this year! xoxo
This is so much fun! It’s definitely making me want to decorate eggs this year – I haven’t since I was a kid!
Wow these are so beautiful I want to make them all! I particularly love the gilded ones…
OMG they are too lovely to eat!
Thanks so much for including my gilded egg! xoxo!
I love this!! Last year I did the insect ones from Country Living, but I am loving that last one up there, with the little sprig…so sweet!
