wrap it up | in a basket

I love the idea of giving gifts in baskets, although nice ones can be costly. Gussy up a cheap metal basket by wrapping it in coordinating strips of fabric. This basket designed by Namhee is such perfect inspiration. The project will take a bit of time but the basket really becomes a gift in itself and whatever it holds becomes all the more special.

Happy weekend friends, I am so glad it is Friday. You know how some weeks just get the best of you!?! We are going apple and pumpkin picking tomorrow though and I couldn’t be more excited about it, plus I found a cute thrifted basket to bring our lunch in. See you Monday.

PS. A stripey basket I would love to give, six more to make at home, and the perfect present to give in a basket.

This is a wonderful way to give out a present. It’s not only adorable, but the recipient can also reuse this little basket for something else in their home. Pretty smart. C:

This is brilliant, have been wanting to do this with my pile of vintage lamp shade frames, but this is much more practical! Would be so happy to see you share something on Craft Schooling Sunday sometime!
