5 blogging Apps I Use Daily

We did a post about our favorite 10 blogging apps a few years ago and I’m still getting comments and emails from it. Sometimes it is the simplest tools that make our lives so much easier online. It seems like every year, every week, EVERY DAY there are more great tools and blogging apps coming out to make engaging with each other easier… I figured it was time to update our list of favorite blogging apps.

In no particular order, here are five blogging apps that I use daily.

5 Blogging Apps {NEW!} that I Use Daily

Storied: Blogging app for Instagram

Have you started using Instagram stories yet? It’s taken me awhile to get there, but we have been sharing almost daily this year. One of the difficult elements of Insta-stories is how immediate they are to life. It’s not always possible to be doing something on brand and worthy of video every moment, and I often hate that we can’t share too many sneak peeks before something is actually done and photographed. Storied let’s me take videos when I want and upload them to be used in the Insta-story setting whenever I feel like it. It’s pretty genius and now I’m just aching for someone to make a similar app for going live. ;)

Co-schedule: Blogging app for scheduling

Co-schedule is what I’ve been using to schedule our social media posts for the better part of the last year. I links to all my accounts, even Instagram and let’s me seamlessly share posts and schedule things out so I can be updating you guys as often as I want, while also still doing important life tasks like feeding my kids dinner. :) Co-schedule has just released a new update where I can set my content to continue sharing into the future as often as I choose. If you don’t already schedule social media, I’d encourage you to start doing it right away!

Hello Sign: Blogging app for signing contracts

Hello Sign was actually on our initial blogging app list too, I’m including it again because I love it so much and still use it daily. The app in itself is pretty simple, but as a blogger or anyone who does business online having an easy way to sign contracts and quickly send them back saves my life. I sign about 3-4 things a day and this year I even used the app to sign my tax return!

Touch/Retouch: Blogging app for photo editing

Editing photos for sharing from my phone got so much easier once I started using Touch/Retouch. The app lets me remove unwanted things from photos and adjust the specs to exactly what I want to see. Almost all my social photos run through this app and then A Color Story, where I create the bright and cheery vibe you see on our Instagram page. Oh, and one other photo app I’ve been adoring is Prisma, which is just straight fun and we’ve use it to create really unique photos like this one.

Teachable: Blogging app for teaching

In the old days when we first launched our blogging course, it was basically me sending out emails of audio files and sharing docs on dropbox. Not exactly professional. HA! So many of you went through our course though and loved it even with the ancient technology. This year we’ve been experimenting with new course creation using Teachable. It’s been awesome so far! The app makes creating courses super easy and handles all the technology on the backend freeing me up to just create fun content. You can even create free course just to share content in a new + fresh way. Grab the free e-book on awesome course content creation.

We are working on a new and really exciting *FREE* course launch coming up in early May. Make sure you are on our email list to get access to it and I’ll be sharing more fun business/blogging tips through email over the coming months. Sign up right here…

  1. I’m puffing a copious blogging app for my android. But I can’t face the entire one. I started wordpress yet it’s repetitive and I hang this diary app(forgot its name) and that’s further boring lol I’m apprehensive a blog notice thats fairly populated and every engagement in activity application gets noticed

  2. Thanks for another informative web site. Where else could I get that type of info written in such an ideal way? I have a project that I’m just now working on, and I have been on the look out for such information.
