8 New Favorite Blogs

Every New Year I try to take a little time to invest in refreshing my blog feeds. I have a small list of oldie but goodie blogs that I still enjoy reading daily, but with hundreds of new sites popping up always – it is fun to find a few new inspirations every so often.

Here are some favorite blogs I’ve stumbled upon lately, mostly through Instagram. Not all these blogs are brand new, but they all are new to me. I’d love to also know which new blogs you’ve been reading and loving lately. Anything good out there I need to see?

And… if you are wondering how to take your own blog and make it into your job – I can help! I just launched a brand new course all about monetizing our blogs to exponentially grow our monthly income. Join in the fun!

Zilverblauw is a gorgeous blog filled with happy shades of pink and quirky fun home designs.

A cactus vase? Yes indeed!

Whether on the blog or over on Instagram @Zilverblauw her home decor ideas feel fresh and new.

Although Sara’s blog is not new, I just found her recently and adore the beautiful look of everything on her site. Is her’s a site you’ve been following? The cake stand above is a collaboration of hers that you can purchase here.

From Ikea hacking dressers, to giving me the exact inspiration I was looking for in our kitchen renovation, her interior style is spot on. Find her on Instagram @sarahshermansamuel.

Inspired by Charm is a colorful blog filled with simple bright DIY details. I love that Michael @inspiredbycharm started the site while owning a bed & breakfast. The entire blog has that slow weekend charm to it.

Never Stop Dreaming is one of my favorite new recipe sites. Hedi @h.rebel blogs out of Tehran and has a wonderful collection of recipes where every photo really does look like my favorite dream ever!

So often when we talk about blog branding it seems we are discussing conformity to one type of brand. It is awesome to see how Hedi has built an incredibly strong brand with a photography style that is quite different than what is normally in my feed.

When browsing through the Legal Miss Sunshine blog I feel like I could recreate any of her whimsical projects right now and my kids would love it. Andrea has built a site with loads of super obtainable and fun projects that I’d love to include in my life.

I adore the graphic punch that comes with Scandinavian style, but it can be hard to see how the sometimes harsh look will jive with little kids running around. Nalle’s House is a site where mom Anu @nalleshouse takes all the good of this style and brings it home in a warm family friendly way. A huge dose of inspiration for my daily feed.

Charlotte Love is a prop stylist, so her site is less a lifestyle blog and more an archive of her work. Work that is drop dead gorgeous! I adore scrolling through her blog to find fresh and bright inspiration.

Over on Instagram @Charlottelovely shares not just her published work, but everyday inspiration as well.

The last blog I recently added to my feed is Smudgetikka which is a high fashion kids designer blog. I love this site… and not just for the fun kid clothes inspiration.

The high fashion photo shoots often use up and coming photography trends and they have (the big!) budgets to do things that you don’t normally get to see on more personal blogs. It is this pushing of the envelope in many of the shoots that is wildly inspiring.

PS. 50 kickass craft blogs and 25 crafting apps for more inspiration.
