One last summer party before fall officially encroaches upon us. This amazing supper dinner was designed by Desiree Spinner Events as beautiful way to celebrate the ending of summer with fun colors and sweet handcrafted details, see the entire feature HERE.
The guests exchanged gardening books with each other as a sweet way to linger over summer while it begins to cool down. I love the idea of having an exchange vs. buying favors for a party or shower, not only does it save money but it allows everyone to participate in the celebration.
These peaches wrapped in the printed dinner menu and used as seating cards could not be more perfect. I just adore their simplicity- a great design for a large family gathering this fall.
The dessert bar was filled with swoon worthy gorgeousness, a perfect white crisp finale to the beautiful summer designs we have seen.

September 9, 2010 at 6:49 pmLove the idea of an exchangeβ¦.we sometimes do this at a brunch we have every now and then between a group of families. We exchange toys! There is always 1-2 toys that either your kids have grown out of or you canβt wait to get out of the house! This is a great way to give the kids something new without having to buy more toys.

September 9, 2010 at 8:29 pmThose peach place settings are incredible! And I think that for a small party, a gift exchange is so much more wonderful than favors; each one feels like a real present!
