Inside: The perfect banana birthday treats, chocolate covered frozen bananas!
Iβve always loved a good frozen banana. Something about the update to a normally plain fruit makes the sweet treat feel wonderfully special and unique. Covered in chocolate and rolled in a few favorite birthday cake toppings these festive frozen bananas are worthy of any celebration. They are an easy size for small kid hands and will make guests of every age delighted at the nostalgic sweet party treat.

Birthday Cake Frozen Bananas
One of my favorite thing about these treats is you can premake them freeze them until the party! I found that you can keep these banana frozen for about 3 days. As long as you keep them in a sealed bag or container!
Chocolate Cover Frozen Bananas
Ingredients
- Bananas
- Wooden Sticks
- Chocolate Melts
- Lots and lots of toppings! Crushed Pretzels, Macadamia Nuts, Sprinkles, Fruity Pebbles, etc
Instructions
-
Cut bananas in half and insert stick through the center. Place the bananas on a wax paper covered baking dish and freeze for a couple of hours.
-
Once the bananas are frozen, melt the chocolate according to instruction on the package.
-
Dip the bananas into the chocolate and rotate to cover the banana fully.
-
Sprinkle on all the toppings youβd like before the chocolate hardens. Fruity pebbles are my favorite! Allow hardening with the toppings before indulging.
Take a cue from this bright birthday sweet and treat yourself to something yummy today. Let us know in the comments any fun and fruity toppings you used!
