Bright Ball Light Wreath

Bright Ball Light Wreath

I am a huge fan of Christmas lights and honestly wish I could keep them up forever. There is something about the soft glow of a string of lights that sets any room’s mood just right. I do however take my Christmas lights down every year by Jan 15th like a good neighbor. No Griswold on my street. ;)

In an effort to keep the pretty twinkle look going all year long – I used a couple strands of these colorful ball lights to make a fun wreath for our wall.

Using pastel colors, navy blue, and a bit of metallic creates a combination that is nothing like Christmas – the wreath gives a soft and colorful glow to our wall and can stay up all year long! It is artwork and light for the room all wrapped up in one fun piece. I plan to use the wreath as a festive backdrop for spring brunches, weekday meals, and breezy spring nights at home. I’m obsessed!

To make the bright ball wreath you will need:

  • 1 large metal wreath frame
  • 1-2 strands of bright ball lights in a colorful combo

1. Start by wrapping the light strand around the wreath frame. Carefully pull the lights in and out of the metal wires to add a layered look to the wreath and to hold everything in place. Be sure to end the electric side closest to where you will plug the wreath in.

2. Once the lights are in the wreath form, start adding on the balls. I started working with one color at a time and then added in others for a coordinated look.

Turn the lights on for a soft and gorgeous glow or leave them off for a colorful display that will elicit smiles all year long.
