We are in the process of making plans for the coming year (thinking about a move, but not convinced yet!). I’m a sucker for purging and moving. Either way, bringing in more bright festive decor is a definite must. Look at these gorgeous Cameroonian juju hats photographed by Brooke Holm. They would make everyday (even laundry day) feel like a celebration.
While I contemplate another moving party, here are links to make your weekend a little more festive:
Flat back desks are the newest thing for kids.
A 3 week party planning checklist.
Easy DIY Easter resurrection eggs.
Moving abroad, a new series by Tina Fussell on artists living abroad. It sounds so romantic!
My friend’s new terrarium book is avaliable for pre-sale (congrats Kat!).
If you celebrate holy week, next week – here is a list of great resources.
Love this original and pretty look book concept with painted brooms!
A pinata costume, that cannot wait until Halloween.
I am going to be spending time this next week spring cleaning the Pinterest boards and adding fun new boards and inspiration. You can follow along right here.
Those are not just poofs – they are Cameroonian juju hats from the Bamileke people of the west province of Cameroon. I know because I lived there. So not just poofs but African art. I think it makes them more beautiful.
Kelsey, that does make them more beautiful! For sure:)
just adore those flat back desks. I am sure the poor man that designed them now thinks I am a stalker because I went all gaga over them on his blog. Oh well! thanks for all the lovely links. love your blog. STILL saving up to take your course. xo
