Lunch Ideas For Kids

Starting the new school year can be tough, but easy lunch ideas for kids makes it just a little bit easier on everyone! From backpacks to revamping our sleep schedules to the dreaded daily lunch making – I wish it could just be summer all year long! This year, though, we are making lunch easier on ourselves & more fun with easy lunch ideas for kids.

They can pack these awesome lunch ideas themselves. Juices, snacks and simple to snap bento boxes make our mornings so much better. I’ve partnered with a few favorite brands to pull together this quick and colorful set of lunch ideas for kids and to see how easy it is to make every lunch brighter with a little packaged help & one very fun sticker sheet!

Lunch Ideas For Kids With Stickers

Gone are the days of cutting little pieces of bread into pandas! It might make your kids smile, sure… but who has time for that??? Not me.

But, I do have time to grab a package of bright funky stickers and create a series of lunch ideas for kids that will bring joy to my kids and ease to me in 5 seconds flat.

Lunch Ideas For Kids

To pull together an easy lunch no matter how late you are running, this ZIPLOC® brand divided container bento box will save our morning sanity!

We filled ours with a Mott’s 100% Apple White Grape Juice Pouch, celery sticks in a ZIPLOC® brand snack bag, reduced fat veggie cream cheese for dipping, a Chips Ahoy Mini Multipack bag and a tasty turkey & cheese wrap.

A few other easy to package cold lunch ideas for kids:

To make the wrap, place cheese, turkey and lettuce in a wrap and roll it up. Cut the wrap into 2 to fit it snuggly in the bento box leaving plenty of room for the rest of the lunch.

I love the idea of creating wraps in all kinds of flavors for making lunch easy to create. With easy to make wraps and containers filled with grab and go packages of snacks we can sit back and have a second cup of coffee since school lunch making was a piece of cake!

Kids Lunch Box Ideas

Then comes the fun part. Grab the sticker pad and cover the snack bags, the bento box, even the drink!

My kids adore stickers and this small act of love is sure to make their day brighter. Plus the stickers easily come off the bento box for washing, or for lunchroom trading… because I can’t imagine anything is as valuable as a unicorn rainbow sticker in the lunchroom. ;)

Everything for this lunch (including the cutest stickers ever!) can be found at Target, so one basketful and you are ready for a new year of fun and revelry. I’m sharing this recent nature donut hunt in partnership with […]

Flower Frisbee Summer Outdoor Game

All of our games move outdoors this time of year and I love creating pretty takes on my favorite nostalgic outdoor summer games, like this extra large jigsaw puzzle or a colorful ring toss game. Lately though, we’ve been playing A LOT of frisbee. I love a good frisbee game since it can fit in our beach bag […]

How To Win At Summer Parties

This post is sponsored by EDWARDS® Desserts. All opinions are my own. We are in the final stretch of the school year and I have a serious case of summer-can’t-come-soon-enough, get-those-kids-out-of-school mindset. I love summer for so many reasons, but this year having the time and space to host small gatherings and parties is top […]
