Pumpkin Pie & Pinwheel Balloons

Hosting a bridal shower is easy when you come up with a simple theme and run with it. Now that fall is upon us a theme of pies is darn near perfect. Grab these sweet pies for under a buck and make a set of pumpkin pie & pinwheel balloons. You can even take the theme further by topping drinks with pinwheels, making pie lattices for over the coffee and creating paper pie boxes for bringing home leftovers. Using a fun theme like this will make any bridal shower feel seasonally in the moment and super easy to pull together.

Pumpkin Pie & Pinwheel Balloons

Let’s talk about these balloons!

Turning a circle shaped balloon into a pinwheel or a full on pumpkin pie is as easy as printing and placing labels on the balloons. They are the perfect shape to really make a statement floating above the pies, drinks, or desserts. Floating a balloon that is on theme instantly brings everything else in the party together. And when you can create the entire display at home with your own printer and your personal Balloon Time Helium tank – well that’s just the best way to host a party.

To create the pie & pinwheel balloons you will need:

Pumpkin Pie & Pinwheel Balloons

1. Start by blowing the balloons up and securing them to string.

2. Print out our download pies & pinwheels design onto full sheet label paper. The download includes all the designs, but feel free to make an entire room of just pumpkin pies! Cut each piece of pie to shape along the outer line.

3. Remove the backing of the labels and secure onto the balloons in circular form.

* Pro tip: Because the labels add a little weight to the front of the balloons – if you find your balloons trying to face the ground the best way to get them standing straight again is to add a small piece of paper or tape onto the back, bottom side of the balloon. Right down by the tab on the backside is a perfect spot to add a little evening out weight (not much though!). It will keep your balloons happily floating at attention.

Reading Corners & Chalkboard Balloons

As much as I want to hold onto summer, I’m also super impressed with the back-to-school selection at some of my […]

Firecracker Balloons

Celebrating the 4th of July doesn’t have to be all read, white and blue. Taking cues from our favorite colors we’ve decided to recreate the look of a fun firework show… with balloons! The long bursts of color will be a welcome addition to any Independence Day party. The firecracker balloons can be hung from […]

Graduation Sticker Balloons

We are in the final countdown to summer starting and like all the other school moms, I’m knee deep in graduations, performances, and end of year activities. No complaining here though – I love reliving the awesomeness of field day. Whoever invented that idea should get everything! Instead of bringing flowers to all these school performances and […]
