I am still a little in awe of the fact that October is flying at us so quickly. This week, eeek! These colorful ghost toppers are a great project to create now before Halloween rush hits.
A colorful bunch of ghosts is exactly how I do Halloween – fully in the ghoulish spirit of it, but still bright and fun. Make a stash of the colorful ghosts for topping cakes, lining a mantel, or using as decoration around the house. They’re super easy to make and are a great detail you can leave up all month long. Because unlike pumpkins ghosts never rot away.
Colorful Ghost Cake Toppers
To make the colorful ghost cake topper you will need:
- Tissue paper in bright colors
- A bit of filler
- Small wooden skewers
1. Lay the paper out and fill it in the center with the filler.
2. Add the skewer sticking up in the middle.
2. Close up the tissue paper tying it shut.
A quick project that packs a colorful Halloween punch to get the house and party ready for ghoulish fun. Place these ghosts in cakes, in foam for a mantel line up, or spotted throughout the house wherever a bright & colorful spook is needed.
