Last summer I had the joy of styling a beautiful wedding held at Heritage Historic park. The day was filled with vintage charm and very bright pops of teal. A hundred year old church and sprawling lawns made for a perfect afternoon.
The contrast of modern teal and vintage charm was seen throughout the day. Bridesmaids wore bright dresses with hand crocheted shawls, the ceremony was held in a paint peeled church with the brides fabulous teal shoes peeping out. Even the sun seemed to be playing along, its rays giving texture to the beautiful building.
As an event stylist, I am commissioned after many of the large decisions have been made. It is my job to pull together the brides many ideas, along with the location, and the budget to create a day that flows with pretty details and seamless elements. I am so looking forward to sharing pieces from this handcrafted wedding design this week.

Oh wow, everything about this is beautiful. The colors, the styles, the photography… beautiful!
That is gorgeous! I especially love the shoes and the church–it’s fun to think of all the marriages, births and other celebrations have taken place at churches like that :)
It looks so lovely. I am looking forward to the next installments! Happy Wednesday, Stephie x
I love the shoes and was wondering where I could find them for my wedding.
