These amazing farmers market centerpieces would look fabulous rested in the center of any fall table.
They are simple to put together using local fresh produce and can be happily eaten afterward, making them not only gorgeous but sustainable as well:) Melanie is here to share the quick & easy steps below.
A fall market centerpiece
The Process:
Looking at this project you’re probably thinking, “Big whoop. I could do that!” And that’s exactly what I wanted to hear because if you think that you can do it, you’re more likely to try it.
- Gather up rectangular boxes of the same height. I bought these at The Container Store and they’re actually meant to be drawer dividers. I also saw some similar ones at Bed Bath and Beyond.
- Collect colorful fresh produce of varying sizes from a farmer’s market, your garden or grocery store. I used artichokes, heirloom tomatoes, blackberries, carrots, radishes, kale, purple cabbage and rhubarb.
- Fill each box with a colorful assortment and place side by side down the middle of the table.
I loved the impact these simple centerpieces make & the warmth they lend to this outdoor fall celebration.
blessings.
