Festive Friday – 5 Fun Things

Candy Warhol

Happy Friday! We are soaking in our last couple days of summer before school starts again. While we take off for a last day at Tahoe and then promptly come home to sit to watch another couple hours of Olympics, I wanted to share a few fun things I’ve been crushing on lately.

How fun is this interpretation of famous art gone festive!?! Thomas Candy Warhol is stunning, and do you remember our own version of sprinkle lips?

yogurt covered cherries

Yogurt covered cherries sound like a great snack to end summer with and they’ll stay great in the cooler.

Tanabata Festival

Tanabata Festival

Every summer Japan hosts it’s annual Tanabata Festival and turns the entire country into a festive garland filled party! With streamers filling the streets and colorful papers that people write their wishes on – this is a national holiday I could easily get behind.

Bourbon Ice Cream

Bourbon ice cream sounds like basically the best thing for a Friday night. Hell yes.

Plastic Spoon Laurel Wreaths

There are many fun ideas for hosting a weekend Olympic party like this and oh my gosh this! I’m partial to these plastic spoon laurel wreaths, we made a while back. Happy binge watching other people working out this weekend. :)
