I shared my garlic party plans and the easy-to-craft fresh from harvest printable invites last month. Now that October is actually here, it will be a blast to put all the ideas to work. A garlic party is the perfect compromise for an October gathering that is festive, but not at all spooky. Here are a few more gems of garlic inspiration Iβve gathered along the way.
roasted garlic | knit favor bags | fall table | black garlic | garlic dressings | pickled garlic

October 2, 2012 at 2:57 amyes Victoria! because we sometime use garlic just to make the βsoffrittoβ! or often to flavor dishes β¦Do you know βsoffrittoβ?..in general, itβs the base for an italian sauce (with onions and carrots into small pieces, an olive oil).
we hardly ever eat garlic in other form..!!!
β¦the very popular dinner party, in my region (near Venice), is the βitinerant dinner partyβ!! we meet in one place and then we go to many different little restaurants named βbacariβ (plural, singular is βbacaroβ), where we can eat many different kind of hmmm..something like βtapasβ! :) and taste wine.
Do you come to Italy?? when?Where?..if you need some informations, write me!! ;)

October 1, 2012 at 12:05 pmI have heard of black garlic, but Iβve never tried it! I would definitely be willing though. I absolutely love garlic; one of my favorite things is tender whole garlic cloves baked inside of a loaf of bread β so good!
