I shared my garlic party plans and the easy-to-craft fresh garlic harvest party invites last month. Now that October is actually here, it will be a blast to put all the ideas to work. A garlic party is the perfect compromise for an October gathering that is festive, but not at all spooky. Here are a few more gems of garlic inspiration I’ve gathered along the way.
roasted garlic | knit favor bags | fall table | black garlic | garlic dressings | pickled garlic

here, in Italy, a garlic dinner party would be very strange! but I think with these details would be great! :)
Monia, strange, really??? That surprises me. I would love to hear more about the dinner parties that are popular there, can’t wait to visit next year!
yes Victoria! because we sometime use garlic just to make the “soffritto”! or often to flavor dishes …Do you know “soffritto”?..in general, it’s the base for an italian sauce (with onions and carrots into small pieces, an olive oil).
we hardly ever eat garlic in other form..!!!
…the very popular dinner party, in my region (near Venice), is the “itinerant dinner party”!! we meet in one place and then we go to many different little restaurants named “bacari” (plural, singular is “bacaro”), where we can eat many different kind of hmmm..something like “tapas”! :) and taste wine.
Do you come to Italy?? when?Where?..if you need some informations, write me!! ;)
Lovely- I am craving anything garlic at 10am. Maybe a garlic bagel?
I have heard of black garlic, but I’ve never tried it! I would definitely be willing though. I absolutely love garlic; one of my favorite things is tender whole garlic cloves baked inside of a loaf of bread – so good!
YUM–garlic is my favorite!
