When we lived in Seattle there was an entire restaurant devoted to garlic. Everything from garlic martini’s to the most mouth watering garlic stuffed chicken. Eating there was great fun and a garlic inspired feast is a perfect theme for hosting an at home dinner party. Plus, garlic functions mythologically as an antidote to Vampires, so the dinner quickly transforms into a slightly spooky but refined take on a Halloween gathering.
Check out the invitations clipped to a freshly harvested bag of garlic here. For serving, game hens stuffed with garlic are easy and pretty when plated. Place fresh herbs along the table to serve as centerpieces and as easy to grab additions to your guests dishes. Oregano, basil and rosemary taste great with the garlic inspired menu. I placed my herbs in homemade concrete pots for a simple fall style.
Garlic martini’s are easy to whip up and hand mixed mustard adorned with printable labels (see below) are a nice way to give your friends a taste that will linger on home with them. To give the evening a comfortable vibe include mismatched cotton napkins, bright cutlery and heavy wooden serving pieces.
The gorgeous garlic dinner party printables were designed by Ashley from Thorne + Sparrow. The printable package which includes an invitation, favor label and seating card can be downloaded for free by clicking here.
