Game night

A few weeks ago we had a game night, it was incredibly fun. We celebrated love (a belated happy anniversary) and enjoyed a fabulous evening with friends. I would definitely recommend you hosting one as a lovely and easy way to entertain throughout the coming holidays.

We played games, ate sweets and laughed loudly together. It was a laid back and perfect way to celebrate together during a season where coming inside and getting cozy is all we want to do.

I designed the evening around various fabric pieces and found this great stash of white vases that popped out against our brick wall. Wine was served and to mark each glass I notched the bottom of craft scrabble pieces- a cute way to say, “I love you” or “happy Halloween”, or any other celebratory phrase you may have.

Tomorrow, the center of our evening… a homemade churro bar!

What a wonderful idea for a party-those Scrabble tiles perched on the edge of the glasses is a charming touch! Can’t wait to see that churro bar-I’ve been looking forward to it all weekend!

I LOVE game nights! I remember as a kid playing games for hours with my cousins and siblings. It’s time to bring back the tradition. Great post. Thanks!

My boyfriend and I host a game night biweekly. It’s tons of fun. I really want more people to do this. I think it’s great to have face to face interaction with people you should be closer to. Balderdash is always a hit, as is Apples to Apples and Taboo.
