Do you celebrate any birthdays this month? We have four family birthdays in the weeks leading up to Christmas. They make the season more fun and definitely more full.
This year I decided to embrace the crazy birthday/Christmas combo and used confetti filled ornaments, velvet ribbon and bright candles to make a birthday Christmas tree. It’s the perfect piece to blend in with our Christmas decor and also look great next to a three tiered birthday cake!
PS. Save your clear ornaments, they make pretty party decor throughout the year. I imagine they’d be gorgeous hanging from a porch tree with flickering candlelight on a summer evening.
blessings.
These ornaments are simply adorable.

What a great way to celebrate December birthdays!
Love the confetti filled ornaments. What a great idea….and I will def keep my clear ornaments accessible throughout the year…!
so cute! I hope you all had a great weekend celebrating birthdays. :)
These are really adorable! It’s actually my birthday today! :) So many December birthdays!
Very sweet Victoria! September is our big birthday month and I find that hard enough. I don’t know how you manage Christmas as well! Stephie x
How sweet-love these! We have a few December birthdays, and I love the idea of embracing them rather than trying to tie it into the other celebrations!
These are adorable! I love those clear ornaments- so many possibilities!
So beautiful! Love the fact that you can give them any colour you want!
I love this idea Victoria! It’s funny because I just wrote a post on my blog combining Christmas prep and my husband’s birthday. I know he has had some complaints over the years about having a birthday so close to Christmas. We give him his due, though. No combined celebrations, and no combined presents (unless he wants something big, like a new guitar)!
