minted challenge

I was thrilled to be asked to participate in the most recent Minted blogger challenge. I designed three different wedding programs and was pleased to find out I am one of the winners!

Thanks to Minted for putting on such a fun design challenge.

They sent over three separate wedding programs and instructions to make them unique with easy to recreate craft ideas. This first program I layered streamers for a pretty design effect. I stacked streamers on the back with a pull here sign and threaded a small needle through the bunch giving guests quick access to a festive throw away for when the ceremony is over.

The second program design was inspired by my recent office confetti. I pinched everyday brads through the programs to create a colorful confetti feeling.

For the last design I used dip dyed embroidery thread to spell out a sweet something and a button to secure all the pages together.

I really enjoyed the chance to get creative and work the already beautiful programs into something unique and special. The design ideas could translate easily onto invites, party favor tags or escort cards for your next celebration.
