My favorite thing about cakes is how great they taste. My least favorite thing about them is how long they take to make. Enter in my new favorite mug cake recipe. Filled with all the chocolate goodness I love about a cake, with no mess and made in just 2 minutes in the microwave! This chocolate mug cake is a treat I will splurge on any day of the week.
Father’s Day is in less than one week! This simple idea will allow your kids to help and is sure to win the way to any dad’s heart. Mug Cake Recipe
It is one of the easiest dessert recipes you’ll ever make and you’ll never make another mug cake again after you try this recipe!
- 3 tbsp milk
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 cup flour
- 3 tbsp oil
- 3 tbsp chocolate chips
- Vanilla Extract
Combine all ingredients in a mug and stir.
Add dash of salt and a dash of vanilla extract on top of the mixture in the mug.
Microwave on high for 2 minutes.
Add in dad's favorite toppings - pecans, chocolate chips, brown sugar or sprinkles to make the cake special.
Treat dad or anyone you love to this easy mug cake. Make it in 2 minutes! Can’t beat that for a tasty and sweet treat.

oh i love this! new to your blog, but you are in my reader now and i am loving it. such joy in every post. we are not huge on gifts for holidays around here, but this would be so fun for my kids to do for daddy. :)
