Update: Happenstance has been randomly chosen as our winner. Thanks for commenting everyone!
I was looking for a way to spruce up our birthday labels and was just giddy when I stumbled upon these colorful brads in the office section at Target. Punch through paper in a random pattern and they look just like confetti. Office confetti! Perfect for birthday invitations or perhaps even memos to the boss:)
The celebratory confetti was the perfect accompaniment to our home letterpressed birthday invitations, which I made using Lifestyle Crafts Epic letterpress/die-cut machine. They sent me one to try and one to give away to you! It produced pretty printed invites and was fun to use. If you’d like to win one of the machines + a sampling of great accessories, check out the many projects you could do and let me know in the comments which one you might attempt yourself.
Contest will be open until Sunday.
blessings.

May 3, 2011 at 9:11 amSooo many projects, both from their examples (Letterpressed Tweet Hello Card, Letterpressed Pocket Full of Posies Card, etc) and from ideas in my head. It’s too late to do my wedding invites (those mailed a couple weeks ago) but programs, escort cards, thank yous, rehearsal dinner invites, Sunday brunch invites, etc are all still on the horizon and would be so fun to press :)

May 3, 2011 at 10:35 pmLetterpress cards are exquisite to look at and to feel; they are so classy. I am commissioned to make a friend’s wedding invites and I love the “posy” wedding invitation. I would use your custom plates when I have to make invitations. I have had my eye on this machine, watching videos, reading how customers like the machine, trying to replicate the technique without the machine. I believe that secret to success is using the paper they sell with the machine. Thank you for having this giveaway, I am so looking forward to seeing who wins.

May 5, 2011 at 4:00 pmWell, I think the art of giving and receiving personalized items has died. How many cards do we receive with Hallmarks words and a simple signature? Two Christmases ago I made my own cards from supplies I purchased. It shows folks that you care. So, I’d go with making cards and gift bags. Thanks!
