office confetti + letterpress giveaway

Update: Happenstance has been randomly chosen as our winner. Thanks for commenting everyone!

I was looking for a way to spruce up our birthday labels and was just giddy when I stumbled upon these colorful brads in the office section at Target. Punch through paper in a random pattern and they look just like confetti. Office confetti! Perfect for birthday invitations or perhaps even memos to the boss:)

The celebratory confetti was the perfect accompaniment to our home letterpressed birthday invitations, which I made using Lifestyle Crafts Epic letterpress/die-cut machine. They sent me one to try and one to give away to you! It produced pretty printed invites and was fun to use. If you’d like to win one of the machines + a sampling of great accessories, check out the many projects you could do and let me know in the comments which one you might attempt yourself.

Contest will be open until Sunday.

blessings.

  1. It would be so awesome to win one of these as I’ve been drooling over the possibilities but can’t afford one myself! I would letterpress our thank you cards and if I had time, probably the programs and more! :)

  2. Sooo many projects, both from their examples (Letterpressed Tweet Hello Card, Letterpressed Pocket Full of Posies Card, etc) and from ideas in my head. It’s too late to do my wedding invites (those mailed a couple weeks ago) but programs, escort cards, thank yous, rehearsal dinner invites, Sunday brunch invites, etc are all still on the horizon and would be so fun to press :)

  3. I absolutely love sending snail mail whether it’s a Thank You, Birthday, Anniversary, New Home, Congratulatory, Hi, What’s Up – it’s the perfect way to tell someone that you are thinking of them. So if I win (please pick me, please pick me) – I would use it to make beautiful hand made notes to send out.

    (please pick me).

  4. I’m a teacher and a serious DIYourselfer! Would love to win the machine – so cool and great to use for classroom projects, parties, etc. I especially like the holiday items, like the Christmas ornaments and valentine boxes. If I do not win, all the ideas, including the brads as confetti are great inspirations! Thank you.

  5. The colored brads are brilliant! I’m going to pick some up next time I’m there which is about 2-3 times/week!:) Oh, I would love to win the letterpress die-cut machine. Honestly, the options are endless of what I would do. I am a HUGE fan of stationary. Plus, I have two kiddies so custom birthday invites would be awesome. Crossing my fingers!!!:)

  6. Such fun and creative ideas! I’d probably start with the party soda bottle wraps–perhaps working out a deal with my beer-brewing brother-in-law would make for great party favors!

Thanks for the chance to win!

  7. Wow, what a generous giveaway! I like the cheery birthday card in the header, but would love the chance to attempt many of the ideas shown on the site! I’ve been looking for a (beginners) letterpress class that I could take in Chicago, but haven’t found the right one yet.

  8. I’m getting married next year…so I’d make invites, save-the-dates, table numbers, thank you notes, place cards, programs – you name it, I’d make it! :)

  9. Letterpress cards are exquisite to look at and to feel; they are so classy. I am commissioned to make a friend’s wedding invites and I love the “posy” wedding invitation. I would use your custom plates when I have to make invitations. I have had my eye on this machine, watching videos, reading how customers like the machine, trying to replicate the technique without the machine. I believe that secret to success is using the paper they sell with the machine. Thank you for having this giveaway, I am so looking forward to seeing who wins.

  10. I love this giveaway, ohh goodness what wouldn’t I do if I won … I looked through all the projects and was surprised by a few that I had not thought of … like the bags … how creative (I’m a bag saver) and this would be a wonderful way to give those bags away … I’d use this for scrapbooking … I might even make my own wedding invitations … it would be awesome to use as cupcake toppers and nameplace settings … this is just totally great and I’d love to win!!!

  11. Love the tweet hello card, although I would try it out as a thank you. Baby number 2 is on the way and i would love to make this one special by making thank you cards to send out to people as gifts come in. How fun and cute!

  12. I love the look of everything letterpress, and I’ve got a bunch of thank you notes to write from a recent baby shower, so I’d put this straight to work!!! I also love the look of the recipe book- maybe it’d inspire me to cook more!

  13. Well, I think the art of giving and receiving personalized items has died. How many cards do we receive with Hallmarks words and a simple signature? Two Christmases ago I made my own cards from supplies I purchased. It shows folks that you care. So, I’d go with making cards and gift bags. Thanks!

  14. I would probably decide on a whim that the Cake Box Cake was totally necessary for a small, informal party I was throwing, and spend waaaay too much time and energy working on making it perfect.

  15. I would love to have this product to create tags, place cards, and to use in my scrapbooking! I especially likedthe example on the sweet and spicy thank you card.
