This week, I have been loving the introduction we are having to spring. Weβve been busy pulling out our old furniture, drop cloths and painting supplies. Painting everything! Not sure what it is, but spring always makes me want to put a coat of hot pink spray paint on everything I own. I snagged this old plant hanger at a thrift store last season and brightened it up with a coat of spray paint. It was a joy to re-hang it with fresh herbs this week.
While we paint our way through a sunny weekend, here are a few links youβll want to see:
Experiencing a scary hospital stay ourselves last month, and working closely with Audrey on the Alt team β I am grateful she is home now, and happy to support her husband selling these amazing posters in honor of her recovery.
Weβve been planning our 10 year anniversary trip and this pin has put Albania on the charts.
These cardboard cutouts are so inspiring.
How to float paper clouds (with balloons!).
Thoughts on taking a regular screen sabbath β we are going to try it this weekend.
Have you seen The National Geographic, Found collection yet? It is amazing.
Over on babble this week: 10 tips for crafting with toddlers and 25 crazy creative party garlands.
And, if you havenβt been following the pinata cake comments β oh, my, you should! Iβve loved reading the most creative ideas thought up; from silver fondant (making it a disco ball), to berries (for a healthier approach). Someone even redid the cake as an egg, with just jelly beans inside. So many smart ideas to choose from. xoxo

March 16, 2013 at 8:25 pmVictoria you touched me twice with these links.
First with Audreyβs story and her husband selling art prints. I wanted to buy one but they donβt ship to Albania. Do you think I can just pay the amount and not receive the print? Itβs okay for me to just donate.
And secondly, I couldnβt believe my eyes when I saw Albania (my country) in your plans. Let me know if you need any info or further inspiration :)
Have a lovely Sunday!
