With our busy schedules running full steam ahead this season, having party decorations that make a BIG impact for a little work are exactly what I am craving. In a world that is pushing for everything to be perfect – throwing parties should feel fun, colorful and effortless. When this is the goal, wearing the right shoes for pulling it all together makes a huge difference.
Have you ever tried to hang up garland in Stilettos? Let me just tell you it is not very easy.
Let’s plan to put the crazy high heels and perfect party decorations away for a few weeks. This fall I want to focus on what is fun, bright, and attainable for birthdays of all kinds.
This triangle party garland is one of the easiest garlands we have ever made. Depending on the color scheme picked, it can transform into a fun backdrop for dessert, drinks, or a kid’s cake party. Add in a balloon or two and the stage can be set for a fall party in minutes.
Having the right types of shoes on goes a long way for making party planning easy. From running around town picking up the cake, to reaching up to hang the garland, I’ve been rocking these cute pink Superga’s this fall. They add a fun pop of color and the entire Superga line are incredibly comfortable to wear for pulling any party off.
This post is partnered with Zappos which is a site I’ve quickly learned to adore in the midst of our busy fall season. With their promise of fast, free shipping, 365 day return policy, and great customer service they are an easy answer to my shoe shopping when there isn’t much time. I also love that you can read reviews – it is one of my favorite things about shopping for shoes, party decorations, or anything online. No one in the store is ever going to stand there and tell you how the shoes really fit once they’ve been broken in.
Open Triangle Party Garland
To make the open triangle party garland you will need:
- Paper in a color selection of your choice
- double sided tape
1.Cut out as many open triangles as you need for creating your garland. This step will take a few minutes, for larger garland maybe an hour. The best way to do it is to create a template, put on a favorite binge show, trace and cut away one evening at home.
2. Bend each open triangle at the top to create a crease. They can be stored like this for as long as needed. So it’s an easy project check off your list by making now for the party that is coming up later this season.
3. Using double sided tape, attach each folded crease with the bottom of the triangle above it. Press tightly to secure into place.
Easy decorations + great shoes will make throwing parties this fall as easy as candy cake!
