We are off for a mini-vacation this weekend to celebrate with friends the official adoption of their new baby boy! Is it just me or is this time of year one filled with a million reasons to celebrate; the first leaves, the school play, the new promotion, the anniversary. All the festivities can surely make a girl dizzy.
These candles are the perfect way to celebrate when a birthday cake is not taking center stage. Fill a jar with sand, take a handful of bright candles, stick them in, and light them up. A fabulously bright way to say congrats for whatever reason, and turn any day into a party.
More festive candles, right here.
Happy weekend, xoxo

September 28, 2013 at 8:02 amMy first time reading your blog because your cup filled with burning candles caught my eye. What a better way to start off our meeting but to join in your celebration of the adoption of your baby boy. Much joy!

September 28, 2013 at 11:30 amI really like this idea. You can also jazz it up and use those aquarium rocks or something like that, but really, the sand is simple and delightful.
