sequin photo frames

During our recent move I found a stash of old family photos in black and white. Loving the look of putting them on the wall, but wanting to add my own bit of spark to them, I did what any normal gal would do – I added sequins! Covering my collection of painted frames in sequins was a really fun way to give a festive feel to these favorite old photos of mine.

Create your own sequin art display with pre-made sequin ribbon available at a local craft store.

Measure the width of your frame fronts and look for ribbon that will cover the thickness for a easy-breezy application. Bring out the hot glue and run it down the length of each frame front before placing the sequin backing against it. Important tip – be sure to pull the ribbon as you go to lengthen it and make the lines straight. Fill with old (or new) photos for a simple side table display.
