It must be something in the water, but Iβve been following the most amazing Australian bakers lately. The cakes and sweet creations coming from down under have consistently been some of my favorites over the past few months. It makes me want to go on a dessert tour of the entire country! Whoβs game for coming along?
Iβm excited to share these favorite feeds for mouth watering goodies that will easily satisfy our weekend cravings.
The milkshakes that Alana Dimou make are so amazing they are becoming iconic. Move over Cronuts, I am guessing this fabulous milkshake craze will be the next sweet treat trend to take over the nation. A burger served this way I will take any day! Follow her genius @alanadimou.
The tagline for Fluffe is: βWhere fairy floss gets betterβ. Yes forever! The creations Nathan is making with fairy floss (otherwise known as cotton candy) are making my 10 year old party dreams come true.
Katherine Sabbath might be the most well known of the Australian baking movement. Her creations are whimsically breathtaking and inspiring the entire baking movement to step it up in big ways. I love following artists that inspire the entire community, and who doesnβt love bacon and eggs on a cupcake!?!
For a more plant based approach, the goodies from Funky Forest Food look as sweet as they are healthy.
Lastly, the baker responsible for baking some of my favorite birthday cakes ever! I gush and squeal every time I see a new dessert creation by the Unbirthday Bakery.
Iβve never been to Australia, but these bakers make the crazy long trip seem worth it. Do you have any new sweet tooth inspiration these day? Iβd love to know.
