Tis’ the season for brunches! The salad sets the course for a brunch – much like an invitation for a party – so make it count, make it the best.

The secret for making a brunch salad truly the best is to add a few shavings of chocolate and then top with balsamic vinegar. Making the salad festive for spring is easy with homemade bunny and egg cheese crisps. To make them, bake Parmesan cheese in metal cookie cutters at 375 for 5-10 minutes. Pull out the crisps when the cheese turns a golden brown and let cool before removing from the baking sheet.
