An easy fried ice cream recipe to make for summer parties that looks as festive as it tastes.
Use your rolling pin and roll out our pieces of pound cake. Make sure you flour your rolling pin to avoid the cake sticking to your pin.
Using your plastic wrap, wrap the pound cake tightly around the ice cream scoop. Make sure your cover your ice cream completely. If you have any holes just pack on a little more cake.
Dip the frozen ice cream ball into the egg/milk mixture then into your minced cookie.
Drop in your breaded ice cream ball into your hot oil for about 15 - 20 seconds.
Helpful Tip: Use one hand for your liquid ingredients and the other for your dry ingredients. This cuts down on the breading for sticking to your fingers and removing it from your ice cream ball.
