We’ve been kicking off the year with birthdays, anniversaries and even more celebrations. I love having fun parties to look forward to as we put away the Christmas gear.
Since the holidays are over, I like a fresh update for my wrapping choices for these parties – because using the left over Christmas paper until May is just not awesome. Instead, we switched it out with white and added a bunch of colorful touches. Presents wrapped with a fresh & fun style for all the parties coming our way.
Pom Pom Paper
To make the pompom presents: start by wrapping the gifts in a solid color. Then grab a bag of colorful poms and glue them around the gifts, such an easy transition to bright fresh gifting style!
Garland Wrapped Gifts
To make the garland presents start with a neutral base color and cut small triangles from colorful paper. String the triangles along a length of yarn with hot glue and wrap around the presents.
Make a large version to hang on the wall, or the closest friend ;) for an instant party look.
Let’s celebrate whatever is coming our way this year with bright + festive wrapping updates.

Love this packaging – so pretty, so happy!
I love your gift wrapping ideas. Just one question- what is the best weight craft paper to use for this. Obviously too light of a paper weight and the gift item can show through the paper. Do you use a particular brand or quality?
Thanks!
