We spent the weekend happily enjoying hot cocoa and the snow. I made an alphabet of stamped marshmallows to play with and they were so much fun. On some I wrote out festive sayings, and on others just letters. The marshmallows kept the kids busy for quite some time, and tasted great melting in our warm holiday drinks.
To make the stamped marshmallows: use oversized marshmallows and a new clean stamp set. Put a small amount of colored icing (found in the craft baking section) on a small plate and stamp lightly, dab on a paper towel, then stamp onto the marshmallows.
We are always looking for simple presents to give other families. An alphabet set of these marshmallows and some cocoa is a sweet idea – just wrap it up with wax paper and twine. I also plan to use them as an easy activity to fill in the lulls on Christmas day.
PS. Stamped pies
That is such a cute idea! I love getting into the festive season in so many ways :)
