Making a huge impact wherever it is placed, this paper cone garland is definitely my new favorite way to turn any room into a celebration of epic proportions.
One of the things I look for in an awesome centerpiece is a project that comes together in under an hour, is affordable, and brings a huge dose of color and festivity with it. Using only scrapbook paper, a wooden dowel, and rope – this project is a great option to scale and coordinate for any party space.
To make the paper cone hanging centerpiece, start with a collection of colored scrapbook paper that coordinates with your party space. Wrap each paper into a cone shape and glue closed.
Starting at the bottom of a wooden dowel, glue one paper cone to the bottom. Then begin glueing the cones up and around the dowel, until the centerpiece has the weight and feel that fits your space. Finish the top of the cone hanging with a length of rope, or ribbon and hang.

Such a cool idea!
Wow! Those are really cool! They look like giant foxglove flowers (which just happens to be one of my favorites).
So clever and eye-catching! Thanks for the idea, Victoria.; off to share.
Simply love this idea. Very pretty. Can’t wait to try it.
