DIY Graphic Floats

DIY Graphic Floats

It’s pool season and having great floats is at the top of my summer party list! There are so many great options for buying huge fun floats, but many of them cost a fortune. So instead we filled the pool with colorful floats that have been turned graphic with a little DIY summer slang treatment.

Floats with a little attitude is exactly what our summer pool excursions need.

To create the DIY Graphic Floats you will need:

  • Colorful summer floats (find stashes of these on the cheap at the local dollar store)
  • Sticker letter labels
  • A few fun summer sayings in your mind, like Seas The Day… HA!

Make the floats by blowing them up and adding the label stickers directly onto the floats. It’s almost too easy  to be called a DIY project. But isn’t easy and awesome exactly what summer is for?!?

Making a huge stash of these is a great way to kick of a pool party or lake celebration in summer fun and style. At about $1.25 each to create, they could even be made one for every party/wedding/bridal shower guest you might invite.

A bonus party tip: Filling an inflatable pool with balloons + these floats will keep a room of children happy for hours while the moms sit outside enjoying Cantaloupe Martinis. I think the kids liked the balloons even better than water!

PS. Make the cake say fun things too.
